Seminars were run in both Greek and English
 The first regional meeting organized for rotomoulders in Southeastern Europe took place in Greece, Athens, on the 7-8th May 2009. The meeting was held in Electra Palace Hotel, situated in the heart of Athens in the old town of Plaka, within a walking distance from Acropolis.
The event gathered both local and international rotomoulders and suppliers who came to Athens to participate in seminars concerning boats and product innovation and to hear latest news from the market. During the meeting participants could hear lectures concerning use of different rotomoulding materials, design and decoration options, product durability and process control. We would like to thank to Dr John Steele from ICO Polymers for sharing his knowledge and experience and running interesting lectures during the whole first day of the meeting.
We would also like to thank to all the meeting sponsors: Caccia Engineering, Multipowders, Pallmann and SAT-Thermique for their great support with organizing this event. Also many thanks for the company Industria who have made the efforts to promote the meeting among local rotomoulders.
The meeting in Athens turned out to be both educational and entertaining. On Thursday evening all the group was invited to have a common dinner in "Motivo" Restaurant. After dinner there was also some time for visiting the city.
We encourage all the meeting attendees to visit our website frequently. Materials which were presented during the meeting will be soon published on the website. Presentations will also be supported with the videos. The files will be easily accessible when using login and password which will be distributed to the participants.
